Recommended tools
The agent tech stack.
The software real estate agents, teams, and brokerages actually run on — CRMs, websites, video, social, AI, and the back-office tools that keep a deal moving. These are the ones we use, set up for clients, and would put our name behind.
Disclosure: Some links on this page are referral or affiliate links, and Agent Marketing Desk may earn a commission if you sign up through them — at no extra cost to you. We only list tools we'd recommend to an agent anyway, and a referral relationship never buys a spot on this page.

Agent Marketing Bot
Our own AI tools — listing descriptions, captions, scripts, and bios.
Canva
The design tool nearly every agent should be using.
CRM & Lead Management
Where your database lives and how leads get followed up on.
Follow Up Boss
followupboss.com
The CRM most serious agents and teams end up on.
A real estate CRM built around speed to lead: it pulls leads in from 250+ sources, routes each one to the right person, and keeps every call, text, and email in a single thread per contact. The reporting is aimed at accountability — response times, conversion, and who is actually working their pipeline. Agents and team leads use it to make sure a new lead gets called in minutes instead of found in an inbox two days later. There's a 14-day trial with no card required.
- Pricing
- Paid, per-user plans; 14-day free trial
- Best for
- Teams running real lead volume
BoldTrail
boldtrail.com
All-in-one CRM, website, and lead gen — often provided by the brokerage.
Inside Real Estate's platform and the successor to kvCORE, bundling an IDX website, a smart CRM, lead generation, marketing automation, and brokerage back-office tools like commissions and recruiting into one system. Because brokerages buy it at the company level, a lot of agents already have a seat and never log in. If yours provides it, learn it before you pay for a second CRM — the lead routing and listing alerts are already wired to your MLS.
- Pricing
- Paid; frequently included by brokerages
- Best for
- Agents whose brokerage already provides it
RealScout
realscout.com
Wakes up a cold database and tells you who's actually ready to move.
An AI nurture layer that sits on top of the CRM you already use rather than replacing it. It pulls leads in from your site, ads, and CRM, fills in missing contact data, then runs branded listing alerts and home-value updates automatically — scoring each contact so you can see who is showing genuine buying or selling intent. The use case is the few hundred contacts you stopped calling months ago. Plans run from solo agent up to multi-office.
- Pricing
- Tiered paid plans (solo through enterprise)
- Best for
- Agents sitting on a database they don't work
Sierra Interactive
sierrainteractive.com
IDX website and CRM built around converting the leads it captures.
A tightly integrated website-and-CRM platform: hyperlocal search pages built to get found, lead capture on the site itself, then automated behavioral follow-up in the same system. It will also run your Google and Facebook ads. The pitch is owned demand — leads from your own site and brand instead of referral fees back to a portal — which fits agents willing to invest in content and ads to stop renting their pipeline.
- Pricing
- Paid monthly plans; quoted by team size
- Best for
- Agents who want site and CRM from one vendor
Real Geeks
realgeeks.com
Website, IDX, and CRM bundled for solo agents and small teams.
An all-in-one platform pairing an SEO-focused IDX site with a CRM, email drips, SMS, and calling. Around that sit home-valuation pages that generate seller leads, an AI assistant that nurtures new leads, Seller Signals for spotting likely listers, and geo-farming postcard and Facebook ad tools. It's priced below the enterprise platforms, which makes it a common first real system for an agent moving off spreadsheets and a phone's contact list.
- Pricing
- Tiered monthly packages
- Best for
- Solo agents and small teams
Wise Agent
wiseagent.com
A capable CRM at a price a new agent can actually justify.
An all-in-one real estate CRM covering contacts, lead routing rules, drip campaigns, bulk email and texting, transaction checklists with automated triggers, commission reporting, and 100+ integrations. Month-to-month with no contract and a 14-day trial. It has enough structure to run a real database and a transaction pipeline without the per-seat cost of the team platforms, which is exactly what a first CRM should be.
- Pricing
- Lower-cost month-to-month plans; 14-day trial
- Best for
- Newer agents building their first database
Homebot
homebot.ai
Monthly home-value reports that keep past clients thinking about you.
A homeownership engagement platform that emails your past clients a personalized monthly report on their home's value, equity, and buy-or-refinance scenarios, branded to you. Underneath, it watches engagement and flags the homeowners behaving like they're about to transact. Agents use it to defend a past-client database and pull listing leads back out of it. Loan officers use it heavily too, so co-branding with a lender partner is a common way to split the cost.
- Pricing
- Tiered paid plans by professional type
- Best for
- Agents with a past-client database to protect
Phone & Texting
The number clients call and text, and who picks up when you can't.
Quo
quo.com
A real business line for calls and texts, so no lead goes unanswered.
The business phone system formerly known as OpenPhone. Calls, texts, voicemails, and contacts live in one shared workspace, with call recording, transcripts, routing, and an AI receptionist that answers around the clock. For an agent it replaces running the business off a personal cell: you get a number a partner or assistant can cover, the full history of every conversation with a client in one place, and a line that survives changing phones. Plans start around $15 per user each month after a 7-day trial.
- Pricing
- From about $15 per user/month; 7-day free trial
- Best for
- Agents and teams who run the business by phone and text
Referral link
Websites & IDX
Search, listing pages, and the site that carries your brand.
iHomefinder
ihomefinder.com
MLS search and listing pages you can drop into a custom-built site.
IDX property search, listing detail pages, market reports, and lead capture that embed into a website you already own — it works with virtually any CMS, including WordPress and Wix, and comes with a CRM and automated MLS-driven campaigns. This is what we reach for when a client wants a custom-designed site and still needs real MLS search, because the search pages live on their own domain instead of a vendor subdomain, so the SEO accrues to them.
- Pricing
- Tiered monthly plans
- Best for
- Custom sites that still need full IDX
Luxury Presence
luxurypresence.com
Design-forward websites for agents who win on presentation.
A website and marketing platform for real estate: sites, SEO, social management, paid ads, a CRM with AI lead nurture, CMAs and listing presentations, and branded client apps. It serves 20,000+ agent and team businesses, weighted toward the luxury end of the market. The design quality is the reason to pay the premium — it's worth it when your listing presentation gets won or lost on how your brand looks sitting next to the other agent's.
- Pricing
- Premium tiered plans, quoted
- Best for
- Luxury agents and established teams
AI Assistants
Writing, ideas, and first drafts — minutes instead of hours.
Agent Marketing Bot
agentmarketingbot.com
Our own AI tools — listing descriptions, captions, scripts, and bios.
The suite of AI tools we built for real estate: listing descriptions, social captions, video scripts, and agent bios, each one pre-tuned for the task instead of repurposed from a generic prompt. You give it the property or the background and it returns copy you can publish rather than copy you have to rewrite. It's free, there's nothing to install, and it's the first thing we point a new client at.
- Pricing
- Free to use
- Best for
- Any agent producing marketing content
ChatGPT
chatgpt.com
The general-purpose assistant for everything outside your listing copy.
OpenAI's assistant: writing, analysis, images, web search, and document work in one place, with a free tier and paid plans for the stronger models and higher limits. For agents the value is the work around the marketing — rewriting a difficult client email, prepping negotiation points, summarizing a long inspection report, or turning a list of closings into a market update. Give it real specifics and it earns its keep; ask it something vague and you get something vague back.
- Pricing
- Free tier; paid plans for the stronger models
- Best for
- Day-to-day writing and problem solving
Claude
claude.ai
Strong long-form writing and document work.
Anthropic's AI assistant, on web, desktop, and mobile, with a free tier and Pro around $17–20 a month. It's particularly good with long documents and multi-page drafts, which is the real estate use for it: drop in a contract, an HOA packet, or an inspection report and ask what actually matters in it. Worth running alongside another assistant rather than instead of one — they're good at noticeably different things.
- Pricing
- Free tier; Pro around $17–20/month
- Best for
- Long documents and contract review
ElevenLabs
elevenlabs.io
Natural AI voiceover for listing videos and reels.
An AI audio platform for text-to-speech, voice cloning, and dubbing across 70+ languages, with a free tier and usage-based paid plans. Paste a script and you get a clean voiceover in seconds — including one in a cloned version of your own voice, or a Spanish dub of an English listing video. For agents who publish video consistently, it removes the re-record step that usually kills the habit by week three.
- Pricing
- Free tier; paid plans by usage
- Best for
- Agents who publish video but hate recording audio
Design & Content
Graphics, templates, and content you can put out this week.
Canva
canva.com
The design tool nearly every agent should be using.
A browser-based design tool with templates for social posts, flyers, presentations, signage, and video, plus stock photography, background removal, and one-click resizing between formats. The free plan covers most of what an agent needs; Pro adds brand kits, so your colors, fonts, and logo lock in and every piece comes out consistent. It's where our own template library lives and the first thing we set up for agents who want to run their own graphics.
- Pricing
- Free plan; Pro adds brand kits and resizing
- Best for
- Agents doing their own graphics
Adobe Express
adobe.com
Adobe's fast design tool, with real Adobe assets behind it.
A template-driven app for social graphics, flyers, and short video, backed by Adobe Stock and Adobe Fonts and able to open Photoshop and Illustrator files, with a free plan and a premium tier. It's the natural pick if you already pay for Creative Cloud or work with a designer who sends you Adobe files. If you don't, Canva has the deeper real estate template ecosystem and the easier learning curve.
- Pricing
- Free plan; premium tier available
- Best for
- Agents already in the Adobe ecosystem
Coffee & Contracts
coffeecontracts.com
A monthly drop of done-for-you real estate content.
A real estate content subscription: weekly customizable social templates, captions, scripts, lead magnets, email drips, mailers, and a link-in-bio lead capture page, plus training and a member community of several thousand agents. It runs about $74 a month, or $740 a year. It solves the blank-page problem — you're editing a strategy-backed post for your market at 10pm instead of inventing one.
- Pricing
- About $74/month, or $740/year
- Best for
- Agents who post consistently and run dry on ideas
Figma
figma.com
Where the real design work happens before it becomes a template.
A professional collaborative design platform — interface design, prototyping, whiteboarding, presentations — with a free tier and paid seats. It's more than most agents will ever need. It earns a spot here for teams with an in-house designer or a brand being built from scratch: the logo, color system, and core layouts get designed properly once, then get handed to Canva for the day-to-day.
- Pricing
- Free tier; paid seats for teams
- Best for
- Teams with a designer on staff
Video & Editing
Shooting, cutting, and sending video without a production crew.
CapCut
capcut.com
Free mobile editing that's more than enough for reels.
A video editor on phone, desktop, and web with trimming, transitions, auto-captions, background removal, text-to-speech, and a deep template library. Free to use, with a paid pro tier. Most agent video — walkthroughs, just-listed clips, market updates — can be shot and cut here without ever opening a laptop, and the auto-captions matter more than they sound: most of your audience watches with the sound off.
- Pricing
- Free; paid pro tier
- Best for
- Vertical video shot on a phone
Descript
descript.com
Edit video by editing the transcript.
Descript transcribes your video, then lets you cut it by deleting words from the transcript like a document — plus one-click filler-word removal, studio-quality audio cleanup, captions, and eye-contact correction. Free plan; paid from about $16 a month. For agents it's the fastest route from a rambling six-minute walkthrough to something you'd actually post, and it doesn't require learning a timeline editor.
- Pricing
- Free plan; paid from about $16/month
- Best for
- Talking-head video and podcasts
BombBomb
bombbomb.com
Video email that gets opened because your face is in the thumbnail.
Record, edit, and embed personal video directly inside an email, with tracking on who watched and how long, plus Gmail, Outlook, and CRM integrations. It's built for sales teams, with real estate as one of its core industries. Agents use it for the touches that shouldn't be templated — a listing-appointment follow-up, a check-in with a past client, a thank-you after closing — where being on camera does something another newsletter can't.
- Pricing
- Paid monthly plans; free trial
- Best for
- Personal follow-up at scale
Listing Media
Tours, floor plans, and photo work that makes a listing look right.
Matterport
matterport.com
The 3D tour buyers recognize on sight.
3D digital twins of a property — the dollhouse view, walkthrough navigation, and floor plans and stills generated from the same scan. Free account to start, then paid plans based on how many active spaces you keep. It does two jobs for an agent: relocation and out-of-state buyers tour properly before they book a flight, and sellers see a deliverable they already recognize by name when you present your marketing plan.
- Pricing
- Free account; paid by active spaces
- Best for
- Listings with relocation or out-of-state buyers
CubiCasa
cubi.casa
Floor plans from a phone scan.
Walk through the house recording with your phone and CubiCasa sends back a measured, professional floor plan, usually within about a day, with square footage included. Pay per scan or subscribe. Floor plans reliably increase listing engagement, and this is the cheapest way to put one on every listing instead of just the expensive ones — the scan takes about as long as the walkthrough itself.
- Pricing
- Per-scan and subscription options
- Best for
- Adding a floor plan to every listing
BoxBrownie
boxbrownie.com
Virtual staging and photo fixes, priced per image.
Outsourced real estate photo editing on a pay-per-image basis: image enhancement from about $2, day-to-dusk conversions around $5, item removal and virtual cleaning, floor plan redraws, and virtual staging around $30 an image — most work back inside 24 hours, staging up to 48. No subscription. It's how you rescue a vacant listing or a set of flat, grey photos without paying for a reshoot.
- Pricing
- Per image, from about $2; staging around $30
- Best for
- Vacant or poorly-photographed listings
Transactions & Back Office
Contracts, compliance, and signatures from offer to close.
dotloop
dotloop.com
Transaction management most agents already know.
End-to-end transaction management from Zillow Group: forms, editable documents, e-signatures, task and compliance checklists, and broker review, organized as one "loop" per deal. It's widely provided at the brokerage level, so many agents already have access through their office. Learn the one your brokerage pays for before buying your own — the compliance side is what keeps a file audit-ready without you thinking about it.
- Pricing
- Paid; often provided by the brokerage
- Best for
- Agents whose brokerage runs on it
SkySlope
skyslope.com
Compliance-first transaction management for brokerages.
A brokerage-oriented suite covering digital transaction files and broker audit review, forms, e-signature, and offer management. It's built around the broker's compliance obligations rather than the agent's convenience, which is precisely why compliance-heavy shops pick it. As an agent you generally end up on it because your brokerage runs on it, not because you shopped for it.
- Pricing
- Paid brokerage plans
- Best for
- Brokerages with real compliance load
DocuSign
docusign.com
E-signature everyone already trusts.
The e-signature standard, now part of a wider agreement-management platform: send, sign, and track documents from any device, with templates, reminders, and a full audit trail, plus real-estate-specific offerings. Use it for everything that lives outside your transaction platform — referral agreements, vendor contracts, team splits, one-off addenda. Nobody questions a DocuSign envelope, and that credibility is half of what you're paying for.
- Pricing
- Paid plans; free trial
- Best for
- Documents outside your transaction platform
Scheduling & Operations
The plumbing — calendars, email, files, and automations.
Calendly
calendly.com
Stop trading texts to find a time.
Scheduling that turns your real availability into a link — meeting types, buffers, reminders, payment collection through Stripe or PayPal, and integrations with Google and Microsoft calendars plus 100+ other tools. The free plan covers one event type; paid starts around $10 per seat a month. Put the link in your email signature and a listing appointment stops costing you six messages to book.
- Pricing
- Free plan; paid from about $10/seat/month
- Best for
- Consultations and listing appointments
Google Workspace
workspace.google.com
Email on your own domain, plus everything around it.
Business email at your own domain through Gmail, plus Drive storage, shared calendars, Meet, and Docs, from about $7 per user a month with higher storage tiers above that. If you're still sending listing presentations from a gmail.com address, this is the cheapest available upgrade to how you're perceived — and it's the account your domain, your website's forms, and your team's logins should all hang off.
- Pricing
- From about $7 per user/month
- Best for
- Every agent with their own domain
Zapier
zapier.com
Connect the tools that don't talk to each other.
Automation across 9,000+ apps: when something happens in one tool, do something in another, without code. Free plan, then paid by task volume. For agents it's the glue — a website form into the CRM, a closed transaction into a review request, a new lead into a text on your phone. Most "none of my tools talk to each other" complaints are one Zap away from being solved.
- Pricing
- Free tier; paid by task volume
- Best for
- Agents stitching several tools together
Notion
notion.com
One place for checklists, vendors, and how your business runs.
A flexible workspace combining documents, wikis, databases, and project tracking, with a free plan and paid team seats. Agents and teams use it for listing and transaction checklists, the preferred-vendor list, a content calendar, and the written process for how a file actually gets handled. It's what stops the business living entirely in one person's head — which matters the week that person is on vacation.
- Pricing
- Free plan; paid seats for teams
- Best for
- Teams documenting how they work
Reviews & Local Presence
How you show up when someone searches your name.
Google Business Profile
google.com
Free, and the highest-leverage listing you own.
Your free Google listing — the panel that appears when someone searches your name or "realtor near me", carrying your reviews, photos, posts, hours, and a call or message button, and feeding Google Maps. Claiming it and filling it out properly costs nothing and takes an afternoon. The reviews sitting on it carry more weight with a stranger than anything you write about yourself on your own website.
- Pricing
- Free
- Best for
- Every agent, without exception
Birdeye
birdeye.com
Automate review requests and watch what's being said about you.
A reputation and customer-experience platform: automated review requests, monitoring across 200+ sites, business listing management, web chat and messaging, surveys, and social posting, with thousands of integrations. It's built for multi-location businesses and priced accordingly, with real estate as one of its verticals — so it makes more sense for a team or brokerage than a solo agent. We use it for our own reviews.
- Pricing
- Paid plans, quoted
- Best for
- Teams and brokerages serious about review volume
About this list
- How does Agent Marketing Desk choose the tools on this list?
- We recommend tools we've either used ourselves or set up for the agents and brokerages we work with. If a tool is on this page, it earned its spot by working in the field — not by paying for placement.
- Are these affiliate or referral links?
- Some of them are. When we have a referral relationship with a tool, the link is marked as a referral link and we may earn a commission if you sign up. It never costs you more, and it never changes whether a tool makes the list.
- Do I need all of these tools?
- No. Most agents run well on a CRM, a website with IDX, one design tool, and one scheduling tool. Start with the category you're weakest in and add from there.
- Can Agent Marketing Desk set these up for me?
- Yes. Setup, integration, and the marketing that runs on top of these tools is what we do. Reach out and we'll help you pick the right stack and get it running.
- How do I suggest a tool for this list?
- Send it our way through the contact page. We test what agents are actually using and add the ones worth recommending.
Not sure what belongs in your stack?
Tell us how you work and we'll tell you which of these are worth paying for — and which you can skip. Setup and integration included.

Social Media
Scheduling, publishing, and knowing what actually performed.
Metricool
metricool.com
Schedule everywhere and see what actually performed.
Scheduling, analytics, and reporting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, X, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile, plus ad campaign tracking and a unified inbox, with a free plan for a single brand. The Google Business Profile support is the sleeper feature for agents: the same calendar that schedules your reels also posts to the listing that shows up when someone searches your name.
Later
later.com
Visual planning for an Instagram grid you've actually thought about.
Social scheduling with a visual calendar and grid preview, link-in-bio, and performance analytics. Worth knowing that the company has moved heavily toward influencer-campaign management for brands, so it's the social-management side that's relevant to an agent. Pick it if seeing your feed laid out before you post is the thing that keeps you consistent — otherwise Buffer is simpler and Metricool reports better.
Buffer
buffer.com
Simple scheduling that stays out of your way.
Queue and publish across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Google Business Profile, with light analytics, an idea board, and a mobile app. There's a free-forever plan. It's the right answer when what you actually need is "write four posts on Sunday and have them go out during the week" and every other tool feels like a second job.
Meta Business Suite
business.facebook.com
Free scheduling and inbox for Facebook and Instagram.
Meta's own free tool for scheduling posts and stories, handling the Facebook and Instagram inboxes and comments in one place, and reading page insights. You end up in it anyway the moment you run an ad or set up a lead form. If those two platforms are the only ones you post to, this covers it at no cost — add a third-party scheduler when you add a third platform, not before.
